Bilingual (Spanish) Advocate

Saving Grace is hiring a part-time Bilingual Advocate in Madras.

The Advocate will provide direct services, network and advocate for survivors’ needs, and promote a coordinated community response through collaboration with partner agencies. Advocate is co-located one day per week with Dept. of Human Services to provide services to DHS-referred clients.

One to two years working in family violence, child development, social services, anti-oppression or related experience and/or training; or ability to demonstrate understanding of IPV and intersectionality, competence in navigating systems, and desire to empower survivors .

Saving Grace does not have any degree or educational requirements or expectations.

Seeking an individual who is fluent in English and Spanish, has exceptional communication skills, works well individually and within a team, and who responds effectively to crisis situations. Paid training will take place in Madras, Bend, Redmond, and Prineville.  Position is part time at 27-30  hours per week, $22.16/hour or more depending on experience (includes 5% bilingual differential), plus generous benefit package.
