Emergency Shelter
Our space is a comforting home, not just a shelter. It provides secure housing for survivors and their kids in a confidential location. Colorful quilts adorn each of the 8 bedrooms. Residents receive food, clothing, hygiene items, case management, resources, counseling, and support.

Mary’s Place
Supervised Visitation & Exchange Center
Mary's Place is a safe and neutral location for supervised parenting time or exchanging children without the parents seeing or hearing each other. We are located in a daycare center so it is a friendly, comfortable atmosphere for both children and parents.

Counseling
Our counseling program offers trauma-informed therapy specific to domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, in both individual and group settings. Counseling services are free and completely confidential and those who participate in these services often say we “get it” — meaning we understand the needs of survivors. Our counselors are compassionate and supportive in helping clients heal and reclaim their lives. To be referred to our counseling services, please call our Helpline.

Legal Advocacy
Post-separation, intimate partner abuse continues. Abusers manipulate the legal system. Our advocates aid survivors in navigating civil and criminal matters, offering emotional support and informed assistance in intimate partner violence cases.

Youth Violence Prevention
Our Prevention Specialist brings Violence Prevention curriculum into all of the Deschutes County High School health classes each year. The curriculum focuses on teaching affirmative consent, roots of oppression, intimate partner violence (IPV), domestic violence (DV), teen dating violence, sexual assault (SA), bystander intervention, and healthy relationships. The ultimate goal is to affect social norms for this next generation of leaders who can truly make life without violence a reality.
